Founded in 1999, Little Billy Entertainment (LBE) is a New York City based nonprofit organization committed to utilizing the performing arts as an important medium for education, empowerment, community development, and cultural understanding.

Born out of the New York City urban environment, LBE responds to the multifaceted needs of the American inner-city through the provision of community based initiatives and theatrical presentations of rhythm, dance, poetry and culture.

LBE is committed to gathering New York City’s most talented urban artists to help establish and validate the “urban voice” as a significant and permanent part of the American culture. LBE’s core artists have been creating together for the past seven years, in addition to working together on other projects within the music industry and in Broadway/Off-Broadway productions.

Little Billy Entertainment develops and produces highly energetic theatrical presentations from a uniquely urban American aesthetic. Our combination of contemporary and traditional music, dance and theater leave audiences educated, entertained and inspired.


Music Performances

Since the humble beginnings of founder William B. Johnson's unpaid street performances, LBE remains committed to providing the public with explosive and accessible quality performances. LBE has an ongoing presence in New York as a member of Music Under New York (since 2001) and at numerous events throughout the country each year. Performances are available for both large and intimate events.
